DLA Distribution headquarters hosts new Air Force National Account Managers

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — The newly assigned Defense Logistics Agency Air Force National Account Managers visited DLA Distribution headquarters and its largest distribution center in the network, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, on Feb. 15 to discuss DLA’s global logistics processes.

The Defense Logistics Agency didn’t exist during Washington’s or Lincoln’s presidency, but history shows DLA’s services would have been invaluable to both leaders.

Former commander returns, gives Air Force customer perspective at SLC

Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation leadership and strategic partners came together for the activities annual Senior Leadership Conference Feb. 7-9 on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Former DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark Johnson who is the current commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, returned to Richmond to speak with senior leaders from an Air Force customer perspective.

The DLA Joint Reserve Force hosted 45 Air Force Individual Mobilization Augmentees for a weekend of training, networking and team building at DLA Headquarters, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Feb. 3-5.
