South Korea military base receives Pfizer vaccines from DLA for DoD adolescents

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The first shipment of minus 80-degrees Celsius Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines from Defense Logistics Agency Distribution arrived at U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Korea at Camp Carroll in Waegwan, South Korea, May 17 for Defense Department dependents on the peninsula.

Southern Resident Office foresees on-time completion for $54 million warehouse construction project

CAMP HUMPHREYS, South Korea — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers website — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District southern resident office, has been at the forefront of a PH-1 Defense Logistics Agency warehouse construction project that began construction in September of 2017.

DLA Distribution Korea recently launched their innovated new warehouse quality program called UCARE. The program assigns responsibility for aisles to specific workers called aisle managers. The photo above depicts two aisle managers, Hyong Hun An and Hyon U Yi.

Navy Reservists team up with DLA Distribution Korea

CAMP CARROLL, Korea — As part of their annual training, a group of United States Navy Reservists joined forces for the first time with United States Army soldiers, civilians and Korean nationals to work together as a team for the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Korea. With the help of the reservists, the team processed nearly 2,000 lines this past November.
