Medical Service Corps officer feels like ‘a lottery winner’ after ending 30 years of service

Medical helps strengthen U.S. partnerships through readiness

PHILADELPHIA — Two Defense Logistics Agency employees attended a U.S. Army’s Office of the Program Manager - Saudi Arabian National Guard summit last month to inform the host nation’s military about Medical’s services, demonstrate products and evaluate protocols as a way to help strengthen the medical readiness on the battlefield.

Medical’s ‘ECAT’ program helps government partners spend less

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical supply chain’s Electronic Catalogue is providing new opportunities for government customers to avoid costs on medical items.

Immunotherapy allergens and vaccines are kept in the 35th Medical Operations Squadron immunization clinic's refrigerator and, for most vaccines, are kept between 35 and 46 degrees Fahrenheit, while live vaccines, for instance the flu vaccine, must be kept frozen at 5 degrees Fahrenheit or cooler at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Jan. 14, 2016.
