RICHMOND, Va. — Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and decreased traffic on the installation, the East Gate, accessible from Jefferson Davis Highway on the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, will close effective April 8 until further notice.

DLA Distribution’s Current Operations team ships Passover/Easter ceremonial items to overseas troops
For more than 20 years DLA has been involved with the yearly distribution of ashes, wine and palm leaves to as many as 50 foreign locations. Whether attending Easter mass in a tent in Afghanistan or Passover service on a ship in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Bennage says chances are DLA was in some way involved in the process.

DLA Troop Support provides Passover, Easter food, religious items and needed comfort to servicemen, women overseas
PHILADELPHIA — With the upcoming Easter and Passover holidays, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is providing special meals and religious items to give some much needed comfort to servicemen and women deployed overseas, during these unprecedented times. Nearly 90,000 pounds of food and 159 religious item orders were sent to locations including Europe and the Middle East for holiday ceremonies and celebrations.
