DLA Intelligence & Security (DI&S)

Missions and Functions

DLA Intelligence and Security provides guidance and support for various programs, including Intelligence, Counterintelligence (CI), Insider Threat Program (InTP), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Industrial Security (INDSEC) and Foreign Disclosure (FD). Our primary role is to act as the chief advisor to the commander of DLA Land and Maritime, aiding in the formulation and execution of Intelligence and Security policies and programs.

Furthermore, we oversee the implementation of DI&S program policies and procedures for Defense Supply Center Columbus, DLA Land and Maritime and the respective subordinate commands. We also ensure adherence to all National, Federal and DOD Intelligence and Security policies within the jurisdiction of DI&S, monitoring and reviewing compliance for these entities.

In addition, we serve as the central point of contact for DLA at Defense Supply Center Columbus, DLA Land and Maritime and the respective subordinate commands, providing classified and sensitive support to Military Services, other DOD components, Executive Branch agencies of the Federal Government and non-DOD Federal Departments and Agencies.
