DLA Pathways to Career Excellence Program (PaCE) is a 2-year training program designed to train entry-level personnel for subsequent advancement to the journey-level in contracting, quality assurance, demand planning, material planning, supply, and technical career fields. This is accomplished through formal training and on-the-job experiences (e.g. classroom, distance learning, web-based training, conferences and seminars).
Participants enter the program at the GS-7 pay level and are targeted to the GS-11 level upon successful completion of the program requirements. While in the program, participants will enjoy permanent, full-time employment, competitive salaries, benefits, and career advancement. U.S. Citizenship is required and our best applicants will possess a 2.95 GPA or higher, with strong academic achievement and leadership skills.

The Safety and Occupational Health Office acts as the principal advisor and assistant to the DLA Land and Maritime Commander on developing and managing programs to assure safe working conditions, environmental quality, and to promote the health of employees, and others on DLA managed facilities.
Mission: Plan, execute, organize, operate, and evaluate a comprehensive Safety & Occupational Health program for the Commander. Ensures the program complies with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Ensures the policies, processes, and framework are in place to support the DLA SOH program and management system.

DLA Land and Maritime Public Affairs provides effective and efficient worldwide support to warfighters, suppliers and customers. To best support the DLA mission, Public Affairs provides guidance to the DLA Land and Maritime Commander, senior leadership, directorates, staffs and detachments, as well as all tenants of Defense Supply Center Columbus. The office develops and administers proactive command information, media relations and public outreach policies and programs that communicate DLA’s critical role as a combat support agency, value added to the Defense Department, Combatant Commands, the military services and warfighters, and the American people using internal and external communication vehicles and channels.

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Hall of Fame, much like the DLA Hall of Fame, was established to honor and preserve the memory of past associates for their exceptional leadership, service, dedication to duty, and contributions in supporting the DLA mission.
This title is not limited to DLA Land and Maritime, the organization, but includes the entire DLA Columbus family housed on the installation as well as Land and Maritime's detachments and forward operating locations around the world. It also includes former DLA activities such as the Defense Supply Center Columbus, Defense Construction Supply Center, the Defense Electronics Supply Center, and the Defense Depot Columbus, Ohio.

An annual summer event since 2009, FFF is a completely voluntary effort that allows the Federal workforce to directly impact the community where they live and work. Locally, the efforts support more than 525,000 individuals through the Mid Ohio Food Collective.
