Planning, coordination, flexibility key ingredients to DLA providing warfighters Thanksgiving dinner

For more than 50 years, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support has been providing traditional Thanksgiving food to field kitchens, dining facilities and galleys in the United States, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and other locations where service members are deployed. While the logistics of getting the ingredients to the table were more complicated this year, warfighters will still have a traditional Thanksgiving meal this week.

Wear denim on Fridays during November

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support workforce is encouraged to wear denim on Fridays this November as part of the final installment of DLA’s “Not Just April” sexual assault awareness campaign. Employees are asked to wear denim, from jeans to jackets, or hats, to show their support of the DLA Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program.
