Troop Support Academy gives DLA employees first-hand glimpse of warfighter support

PHILADELPHIA — Some DLA employees have never worn the uniform. Their only point of reference to the many items that they procure is a national stock number or cage code. The recent Troop Support Academy gave them a first-hand look at the numerous items they provide to the warfighter each day.

Troop Support retirees honored for 68 years of combined service

PHILADELPHIA — Two DLA Troop Support employees were recognized for their 68 years of combined service during a retirement ceremony Sept. 26 in Philadelphia. Anita Parker,Procurement Process Support, and Philip DiBabbo, Medical supply chain, both retired with 34 years of service.

Troop Support commander leads celebration of champions, unveils 2019 campaign plan

PHILADELPHIA — With a nod to a proud the Super Bowl champs and his Philadelphia-based workforce, the DLA Troop Support commander introduced the fiscal 2019 Campaign Plan and provided updates on personnel, programs and projects during a town hall Sept. 6.

WRP employees meet with Troop Support commander

PHILADELPHIA — Employees hired through the Workforce Recruitment Program learned that “trust, discipline and commitment” were three things that the commander of the DLA Troop Support found vital to his success when they met with him July 10 in Philadelphia.

Brian Potena and Margaret Hildreth were recognized for their service during a retirement ceremony Feb. 22. Potena retired as a quality assurance specialist with Industrial Hardware, and Hildreth also retired as a quality assurance specialist with the Subsistence supply chain.

C&T retiree recognized for more than three decades of service

PHILADELPHIA — A DLA Troop Support employee was honored for his 35 years of government service during a retirement ceremony Nov. 30.
