Subsistence, DLA Distribution support Pacer Goose mission

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain, in partnership with DLA Distribution Norfolk, Virginia, provides support to the Air Force's annual re-supply mission, Pacer Goose Sustainment 2019, at Thule Air Base, Greenland.

DLA Troop Support, NJIT/NJII conduct drone research test flights in Cape May

Philadelphia — A Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence team, in partnership with the New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey Innovation Institutes Unmanned Aviation Systems Test Site and a contracted vendor, successfully conducted two unmanned aircraft systems research flights, July 24-25 at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal in Cape May, New Jersey.

Subsistence, FEMA partner to provide nutritious meals before hurricane season

PHILADELPHIA — In preparation for hurricane season, the Federal Emergency Management Agency requested the assistance of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain to aid them in providing more nutritious pre-packaged meals to be distributed during natural disasters.

C & E employee learns resiliency and dogsledding in subzero weather conditions

PHILADELPHIA — It’s not common for someone to volunteer to spend a week in subzero temperatures without a cabin, heat or cot just to learn dogsledding. Geoffrey Dominessy, a contracting officer with the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment supply chain, did just that in February in Northern Minnesota.
