Associate teaches equal opportunity and diversity

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime associates gathered Aug. 22 in the Operations Center’s Buckeye and Cardinal Rooms to pay homage to the progress, achievements and contributions women have made to the success and legacy of America.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our beloved and much appreciated Ms. Marcia Mitchell. She will always be remembered as a hardworking, committed, and friendly person. OSHA Safe + Sound Safety Campaign

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Safety and Occupational Health Division will host the OSHA Safe + Sound Safety Campaign, an interactive, informational fair, Aug. 14 from 11a.m. -1p.m. in the Operations Center Buckeye and Cardinal rooms at the Defense Supply Center Columbus. The annual event is held to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs as part of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s nationwide campaign.

Faith services offered at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Chaplain Liaisons provide encouragement to employees in support of the spiritual pillar of the DLA Land and Maritime Resiliency Program under the People and Culture Directorate. Bible Class and Prayer Warriors groups formed at DSCC in the late 1990’s by a small group of employees and a volunteer Chaplain Liaison of the Christian faith.
