PHILADELPHIA —
The Defense Logistics Agency partnered with the U.S. Southern Command to deliver $1.3 million worth of life-saving pharmaceuticals to the Paraguay Ministry of Health for urgent treatment of intensive care patients with COVID-19.
“This effort represents a whole-of-government approach [including] the Department of State, USSOUTHCOM, and DLA to strengthen partnerships and counter threats in our shared neighborhood,” SOUTHCOM Director of Logistics Marine Col. David Gibbs said.
