Engineering provides technical support and develops technical initiatives to improve operations at DLA Aviation through our:

Sourcing and Reliability services which improve the value of DLA Aviation Products / Services through Source Development, Product Improvement, Technical Grouping, Reverse Engineering, Organic Manufacturing, and other Technical / Engineering Services.

The Standardization program identifies, develops, manages and provides access to standardization processes, products, and services for warfighters, the acquisition community, and the logistics community to promote interoperability, reduce total ownership costs, and sustain readiness.

And, the Value Management support service reduces fraud, waste, and inefficiency in the acquisition of spares, repair parts, and other supply items through the Should Cost and Price Challenge programs beneficial to both the federal government and defense industry partnerships.
