The Navy’s USS Swim Call and Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Customer Operations’ Red, White and Blup Blup Blup were neck and neck until almost the end when the former capsized during their preliminary heat at DLA Land and Maritime’s Navy Cardboard Regatta held Oct. 11 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Eagle Eye Golf Course pond. People’s Choice went to the USS Swim Call, piloted by Navy Cmdr. Ken Swing and Lt. Cmdr. Thuy Nguyen and the Spirit Award went to Red, White and Blup Blup Blup piloted by Management and Program Assistant Jody Taylor and Customer Account Specialist Mia Giesler. Swing and Nguyen are operations officers for DLA Maritime Supplier Operations.
