More than 80 leaders from 14 European countries met to discuss strengthening reciprocal fuel support during DLA Energy Europe & Africa Fuels Exchange Agreements Forum in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, Sept. 19-21.
The DLA Energy Aerospace team fueled two space missions this month: the first launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, tested the U.S. Space Force Rapid Launch Capability and another from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, sent National Reconnaissance Office satellites in to orbit.
DLA Energy quality assurance representatives worked alongside soldiers to recirculate over 60,000 gallons of off-specification fuel and save nearly $260,000 in potential fuel losses at two tactical vehicle refueling stations on Fort Carson, Colorado.
The Department of the Air Force, in partnership with the DLA Energy, reached a critical milestone Aug. 31, in piloting advanced nuclear energy technology with the issuance of the Notice of Intent to Award a contract to Oklo Inc.
DLA Energy Utility Services worked with Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command to award its second utilities privatization contract on Aug. 15 at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, for the water and wastewater systems.
