A Senior Procurement Executive Review at Defense Supply Center Columbus Dec. 11 provided a critical acquisition pulse check for Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support as the major subordinate command continues toward its final operational capability target date of Oct. 1, 2026.

Molly Teegarden is a current member of the Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (Columbus) Pathways to Career Excellence program. She began her PaCE journey in September 2024 and will graduate September 2026 as a pre-award contract specialist.

Nearly a dozen service members from Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (Columbus) took a break from their usual duties on Nov. 21 to take on a different mission – serving meals at a Veterans Affairs Thanksgiving Luncheon held at the American Legion Post 144 on the south side of the city.

A spirited celebration of warrior legacy resonated throughout the Defense Supply Center Columbus Operations Center Auditorium Nov. 19, as the installation’s workforce gathered for a birthday ceremony commemorating 250 years of America’s ‘first to fight, ready to win’ force – the United States Marine Corps.
